Susie Mason of Lincoln is here visiting her daughter Elissa, Jordan and family this weekend. Susan Billmayer went to Great Falls to a Garden Club Meeting on Friday. On the way home Saturday, she stopped and picked up daughter Emily in Havre and brought her home for the weekend. Loretta Beck attended the auxiliary meeting in Turner on Wednesday evening. Dorothy Nyleen Beck Anderson passed away last week. She was the sister of Wally Beck, and grew up in the Hogeland community. Sympathy is extended to her family. The Blaine County Fair was held this week in Chinook. The weather was kind of unsettled, but the Fair went on as scheduled. Quite a few of the community attended. Susan Billmayer attended the funeral service for Lorraine Schwenke in Malta on Monday. The Elementary Basketball Jamboree was held in Turner on Saturday with St. Judes and Box Elder playing the Turner teams. There is one more Jamboree in Chester this coming Saturday. The Turner girls and boys games are at 12:00 and 1:00 vs. Big Sandy, then vs. CJI at 2:00 and 3:00. Susan Billmayer went to Billings for a dental appointment on Wednesday.
