The 4th Annual Tristan Billmayer Memorial Suicide Awareness Prevention Walk will be held this coming Sunday September 9th. Registration and breakfast will be at the Turner Legion Hall from 9-10:15 am. A short program at the Turner gym will follow. We had quite a storm on Tuesday afternoon. There was terrible wind, rain and hail with it. There was a lot of damage in parts of the Big Flat. Some were hit very hard and others not so much. We’ve had a week of cold, below Zero temps with wind to blow the snow around and into drifts making roads impassable. Monday being a holiday, and then a couple of days with no mail. It made for a long week. Busses didn’t run a few of those days and if you wanted to get your kids to school, you broke trail and got them there. It’s tough for the snow plows to work when the snow blows the roads shut right behind them. We really appreciate our snow plow drivers and we thank them for all they do.
