The first day of winter is less than a week away, but it sure feels like it’s already here, as usual. Thankfully it has been pretty mild, so far only the wind chill has taken us into the below zero’s. It hasn’t really gotten cold out, just chilly. So far it has been a pretty mild winter for us. We still have two glass pie plates left over from the Community Thanksgiving. If these plates are yours, pick them up at the Center. Our condolences to the family of Shirley Komis, and our deepest sympathy to our own, Brandy Rorrer and her family, for t...

Last weeks activity winners for; Shanghai Rummy: Don Durocher won; Bingo: Ray Reid won the Jackpot Blackout. The leaves were on the trees one minute and the next they are all laying on the ground. I actually like walking through the leaves on the sidewalk, it reminds me of my childhood and running to jump into a pile of leaves to be covered in them. I may have been hiding or waiting to scare somebody, usually my brother. The leaves sound like they are making noise with a bullhorn when you are trying to be quiet within them. The crunch and crackle that tell you fall is here. Our condolences go out to the family of Donald (Mike) Randall Thank you to...
