The Turner Tornadoes headed south this past weekend to take part in another tip-off tournament. The community of Harlowton hosted the two-day event. On Friday evening, the Tornadoes took on the Sheridan Mustangs and were defeated 69-49. Saturday the boys faced the Jordan Mustangs and secured a 71-60 win to even their record at 2-2. The Chinook Sugarbeeters were in Shelby this past Friday for a pair of non-conference clashes at the annual Coyote Pre-Season Tip-Off Classic basketball tournament. On Friday morning, the ‘Beeters took on the Eureka Lions where they were defeated 74-65.
