The Hays Lodge/Pole Thunderbirds were in Gildford Friday night where they suffered a 51-39 setback to the North star Knights. Saturday the Thunderbirds were in Big Sandy to take on the Pioneers where they were defeated 54-38. This year the Chinook Community Thanksgiving dinner returned to a bit more normal setting. A year ago organizers were forced to move to the Blaine County Fairgrounds Commercial Building and serve just take out or delivery meals due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and the associated restrictions. This year guests were allowed to dine it at the commercial building or have meals delivered. All told, 125 meals were prepared and served.
