The Steve Hickel family attended the elementary basketball jamboree in Havre on Sunday. They had fun watching the young Tornadoes play. Brian and Lynette Sallee of Lewistown spent the night at the Ralph Snider home coming especially for the Seed Show and visiting family and friends. Bill and Mary Hake attended birthday supper for Carson Maloney on Monday night. Gerald and Shirley Keller were to Butte to watch the State A basketball tournament. They enjoyed watching their granddaughter, Kendall, who plays for the Blue Ponies. The Keller’s stayed with Juliann Solomon and family Wednesday through Saturday. It was fun to see all the family! Taylor and Kayla Fouts were down to Mary and Bill Hake’s home for lunch on Sunday. Don and Bonnie Harmon were to the Harlem Civic Association spaghetti dinner where EMS crews and their families were honored for their services throughout Blaine County. Jessi and Alex Billmayer of Hogeland delivered fifty filled thermal Thirty One totes to Benefis NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) in Great Falls last weekend. This exceeded their goal from in the past. They had each bag filled with a variety of goodies including books, baby blankets, baby beanies, ice packs, hand sanitizers, notebooks and pens and pencils, and other handy items that one needs when staying overnight. The Senior Class of 2017 were honored at the last home basketball game for the 2016-2017 ball season. Four seniors were recognized for their years at Turner School. The students at Turner Public School had a blast last week during recess prior to the warmer temps and winds that melted a good share of the snow. But, prior to that, the kiddos had a blast digging and rolling snow across the playground. You can bet, where there's snow to be sculpted, there's kids. That's just a given. The 2016-2017 Homecoming was held this past weekend at the Tornado gymnasium. Festivities were held all week long with activities ranging from Pajama Day, Retro Day, Hawaiian Day and Green and White Day. Floats were constructed during the week to partake in the Homecoming Parade prior to Homecoming between games on Friday. Congratulations to Dusty and Misty Mohar on the birth of their son, Corbin Paul, born January 1st. The little lad weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.
