    The entire student body of Turner School took an afternoon to clean up any trash that collected here or there over the winter months.     Big Flat Grocery will be closed on Memorial Day, May 30th. They will be open again for regular business hours on Tuesday, May 31st. Sorry for any inconveniences.     The annual commencement exercises took place Saturday, May 21, 2016 in the Turner School Gymnasium. Three Junior High graduates and three Seniors took to the stage for their graduation exercises. Mrs. Kathy Zellmer played the processional and Tyler Humphreys welcomed the crowd. Tyler Anderson gave the introduction of the guest speaker, Mrs. Diana Maloney.     The Turner High School Junior Senior Prom was held recently in Turner at the Old Gym. This year's theme was, "Footloose and Fancy Free." The Junior Class held a banquet prior to the prom with help from their parents. It was open to school board members, both Junior and Senior classes and their parents.     Word has been received of the death of Janice Hendrickson-Frank. She grew up on the Big Flat and moved away later in her life. She passed away this week.     The St. Mary Rehabilitation Working Group met on January 12, 2016 in Havre to discuss the their upcoming meeting with their water firm, Water Strategies, and hear updates on maintenance work being performed by the Bureau of Reclamation (BOR).     Three students were declared winners at the Turner School in the local Geographic Bee held this week. Shay Humphreys was declared the winner, while second place went to Chantry Jorgenson and third to Shane Kimmel.
