    Happy New Year. Welcome 2019. I always have trouble making that change from the old year to the new year. Sometimes I get it so mixed up I even revert back to the 1900s.     The Movie this week will be The Great Outdoors showing on Wednesday 26th at 1 in the Library Meeting Room. Come and enjoy a movie. There will be no Bingo the 27th.     Merry Christmas to everyone. Thank you to all of you for the lovely donations of books and puzzles this past week. We are enjoying the new titles. Those of you interested in Harlequin books, we have received a large supply. We also welcome large print books. Come and browse.     Happy Thanksgiving. This week the Community Thanksgiving Dinner Team will be serving up a wonderful meal from 12:00 – 1:30 on Thursday. Deliveries will be made but please call and get your name on the list. Please call (357-2648). We will be sending out sign-up sheets with our normal deliveries to be returned if you desire a meal delivered.     Where did August go? Seems to me this month went way to fast. I had hoped we would have some time between not having to run the AC and having to turn on the furnace, but I don’t think that will happen. We are taking applications for the head cook position.     Friday we had our planned power outage and everything went off without a hitch. A huge thanks to the volunteers and staff for your patience and willingness to make a good day a great day in spite of no power. Then, this morning, Monday the 27 all the problems that were happening last week that required fixing happened over the weekend. As a result of the freezers losing power all of our ice cream melted.     This week we have had a problem with some power loss that caused the air conditioning, the convection oven, dishwasher and hot water heater to not work correctly. Finally, after Brett Zarn, Schine Electric and NorthWestern Energy co-examined the problem it was found that we will need to have meters replaced on the outside of the building. They have temporarily fixed the problems so everything is working as it should. The date for this is undetermined, but we will be open as usual as we will have our gas stove working and will serve up soup and...

We voted in Terry Grabofsky (incumbent) and Roger Fischer (incumbent), new inductee to the board is Ken Schubert.
