    The Local Spelling Bee was held this past week at the Turner Public School. From this Bee, two contestants will move forward to the County Bee to be held at a later date. Grades 4-8 students were competing, however, new rules for the county bee state that the student must be in grade 5-8.     After an All-Class Reunion for the Zurich Elementary School was cancelled twice due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic, the Zurich Association of Parents (ZAP) decided it was time to do something with the funds in the ZAP account.     The American Red Cross held it's community blood drive in Chinook on Tuesday January 4th at Waller Hall. Thanks to all of our donors, we collected 38 units on a goal of 40. We had two first time donors, Aspyn Colby and Lane Hassler. We hope this was the first of many donations for you. The canteen was hosted by St Gabriel Catholic Church.
