    Saturday night at 9:49, Fire Chief Kraig Hansen received a page that a house was on fire in the 900 block of Ohio Street. When fire crews arrived, they went to work to extinguish the blaze. The Chinook Police and the Blaine County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene. Although the fire was put out before midnight, Kody Farmer, who was in the house at the time of the fire, sustained injury and was transported to the hospital.     The Chinook Rod and Gun Club held their first ever Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, February 1 at the Dry Fork Reservoir from 9 am to 3 pm. There were a total of 14 participants.     Carl "Dale" Wass was born August 13, 1948. It was a Friday the 13th, and he liked to remind us every time a Friday the 13th rolled around again. He passed away on January 27th, 2020 after a brave fight with cancer. Dale is survived by his children Anna (Nathan) Talafuse, Janice (David) Barbee, and Luke Wass, and by seven grandchildren, Eric, Andrew, Payton, Gabriel, and Olivia Talafuse, and Kirra and Logan Barbee.     The Turner 2019-2020 homecoming was held this past Wednesday at the Turner School. The festivity was kicked off with float presentations from grades 7-12. Children in grades K-2 pulled the float "wagons" for the classes presenting. Following the floats, a spaghetti supper was held in the school cafeteria followed by a community Pep Rally.
