The City of Chinook is about to begin a major improvements project on the water distribution system. Chinook Schools’ high school gym and weight room will reopen to Chinook resident’s and 7-12 Chinook student’s use on a limited basis starting Wednesday April 7. Facility • Weight Room allows six people per hour and the gym allows 10 people per hour. • School groups have priority and there is a limit of one hour per day per group or person. The Turner elementary basketball teams traveled to Chester to play the CJ-I Hawks on Saturday. The Tornadoes boys lost in a close contest, and our girls won. These were the last games of the season. Sara Lee King was born October 13, 1936, in Milwaukee, WI. She was the 7th of 9 children born to Willard and Henrietta King. Most of her childhood was spent in northern Wisconsin of which she would frequently tell stories.
