Extensive damage to the roof forced the immediate relocation of the Blaine County Health Department, the MSU-Blaine County Extension Office the Blaine 1 Ambulance crew. The Elementary Basketball Jamboree was held in Turner on Saturday with St. Judes and Box Elder playing the Turner teams. There is one more Jamboree in Chester this coming Saturday.     Caroline Virginia Felton Morton passed away at home on January 29th, 2019. She was born November 8, 1928 in Havre Montana to William Pruden and Sally Borchardt Felton. She was their 9th child. She was raised in the Bears Paw Mountains and Chinook. After high school she traveled to Great Falls to work, then on to Minneapolis and San Francisco. She returned to her parents' home in Woods Bay on Flathead Lake and met her future husband Don Morton. They married October 31, 1953, raising 3 children....

    The High School Track & Field teams got their first taste of competition this past weekend at the Glasgow Invitational. While the conditions may not have been the best the opportunity to compete in March is something teams haven’t been able to do the past few years.     In 2018, USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) established a new acreage reporting deadline for perennial forage for 2019 and subsequent years. Previously set in the fall, the new deadline is July 15 for all states, except for Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
