    A women's retreat was held in early March at the Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton. While organized by some women from the Chinook Alliance Church, it was open to any who wished to attend. The theme of the retreat was "Broken Beautiful" from a book and video series by Ann Voskamp entitled "The Broken Way."     The excitement was palpable as Meadowlark students and staff filed in to the gymnasium for a school assembly. Seven lucky students' names would soon be drawn for their own Kindles (small, hand-held electronic devices for reading downloaded books).
