It is with a heavy heart to let you all know that Robert Lucke passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018. He went peacefully and without pain. Robbie entertained many readers over the years with his tales of Glacier Park, Beaver Creek and his youth. This year’s Community Chest Fund Drive in Chinook will take p lace Wednesday, May 2, a t 5:30 p.m. The purpose of Community Chest is to alleviate each organization from going door-to-door soliciting donations. Rose M. Main, 60, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Northern Montana Care Center due to natural causes. Jack passed away Friday February 16, 2018, surrounded by loved ones in Peace Hospice of Great Falls, Montana. He was a loving husband, father, uncle and grandfather who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He was born June 1, 1937, to Charles and Lena Wilson in Chinook, Montana. Martha Finch Bonebright, "Nana", passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018. She was 98 years young. Born to Clarence & Bertha Finch, she was the middle child of five Finch children. Martha was raised on the family farm in Chinook with her four brothers. Growing up, she recalled fond memories of working at Dick's Department Store, where she earned the large sum of 25 cents an hour. In 1938, Martha married the love of her life, John Bonebright. Thirty-five fifth graders from Meadowlark Elementary hosted their annual wax museum. Each student selects a character from American History which they learn about and represent for the project. This year's theme was "Heroes and Heroines." It's been a test in patience for are track and field athletes as they have been hard at work, practicing for more than a month due to the extended winter and subsequent flooding.
