    The second annual Blaine County Fur Fest was held Friday December 6-Sunday December 8th. The Blaine County Fair Foundation holds this event to serve as a fundraiser for the foundation.     Gene Whinnen, age 85, passed away November 20, 2024, of natural causes. He was a beloved father, brother and friend who will be missed. Gene was born September 17, 1939, in San Francisco, CA. When Gene was 12, his mother Mildred Whinnen moved Gene and his two sisters, Marilyn and Loretta, to Chinook, MT.
