Reporter's note: Regular readers of the "Journal" know I make periodic road trips to the Seattle area to visit our daughter and eight grandkids. First Bank of Montana, in Chinook, celebrated "Big Day" last week. Branch Manager Craig Lowham said the day was part of a week-long celebration to attract new accounts to the bank. It was also the first day to use the local bank's new drive-up system. There was homemade root beer floats during the big day and coffee and treats all during the week.
