Youngsters in Blaine County will have an opportunity to share their talents by designing a wildlife T-shirt for a contest sponsored by the Wildlife Museum. The winners will have a T-shirt created from the design that they come up with and displayed and made available for sale in the museum gift shop. Saturday night saw a lot of Marksman and Markswomen take their chance at winning prizes at the trap shooting range at the Chinook Rod and Gun Club shooting range. "We had 22 total shooters," said board member Joe Kennedy. The event was held in conjunction with the gun show held at the commercial building at the fairgrounds. Hello From the Chinook Senior Center I have been gone for a full week of fun in Boston and let me tell you that the colors weren’t even changing much, as it has been unseasonably warm there. Nevertheless it was a wonderful week spent with my sister and we had so much fun making memories and filling a bucket list. Boston is rich in history and so many places to walk to and think about. Glenna Hiner Schaible grew up in Chinook. She was raised by her Grandma Lucille Finley Nash, a lifetime resident of Chinook. The 'Beeters hosted the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks on Senior Night. The Blackhawks stand at a season of 5-0. The 'Beeters hoping to change that to serve them their first loss. This weekend Wildcats ventured into the undefeated Belt Huskies’ territory hoping to break their winning streak season. The Harlem Wildcats have not had the best season, but this doesn’t stop the players from being anything less than great. This week the Hays-Lodgepole Thunderbirds only had one game this week and traveled to Box Elder to face off against the Lady Bears’ Volleyball team. The Thunderbirds were electrifying in their game against the Bears. With a match of leading 2-1, it was a travel well worth it. This week the Lady Cats made the trek to play against the Glasgow Scotties. This wasn't their only road trip as they also adventured into Wolf Point Wolves territory. Thursday was spent in Glasgow for the Lady Cats Volleyball team. Both teams were found in a sea of pink, as they showcased their colors to raise awareness and support Breast Cancer Survivors. This week the Sugarbeeter Volleyball team traveled to Cut Bank Thursday to play against the Wolves. Saturday, the Sugarbeeters hosted the Shelby Coyotes on Senior Night.
