    Holland and Bonine Funeral Home is expanding their business by opening an office in Chinook. The funeral home has been open and located in Havre, MT since 1906 and has seen various owners throughout its lifetime.     Chinook Senior Center welcomed Dr. Mohammed Kanaan on Tuesday, October 18th to receive an informative presentation on cancer and its treatment.     One of the best ways to prepare squash is to cook it with bacon on the top of the stove. That way of cooking squash gives it a wonderful taste and is simple to do. Not only that but you can cook it ahead and just heat it up when you want to serve it. In the Lucke test kitchen I had wondered how that squash recipe would taste using applewood bacon.     Marcella (Marcy) Epler was born in Spokane, WA on February 6, 1943 to Carl and Cleona (Crites) Poore, and lost her battle with cancer on October 21, 2016. Graveside Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at the Harlem Cemetery. Her family resided in Gildford until they moved to Zurich, MT. She spent her childhood in Zurich and in Chinook until she met her sweetheart James (Jim) Epler and were married on September 20, 1961. At that point in time they made their home in Harlem.
