Tonight is the “Silver Bells” Holiday Wine and Cheese Fundraiser hosted by the Friends of the Harlem Library from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the library. Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center! We are truly enjoying all of the new people who are visiting us & participating in our activities. There is so much laughter with Cornhole! The Harlem Library Board will hold their monthly meeting today, November 29, at 4:30 P.M. in the library meeting room. The Friends of the Library Holiday Wine and Cheese “Silver Bells” fundraiser will be December 6 from 6:00- 8:00 P.M. at the library. The Chinook Senior Center has had plenty going on recently and this past Halloween it certainly was the place to be for a good time. The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday October 30, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. The library will be participating in Trunk or Treat this year. Last October Gary and Beverly Jensen, traveling companions from Chester on several prior bus tours, called asking if I would help them organize a bus tour. The destination was the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in northern Kentucky, near Cincinnati. The Harlem Library is an affiliate of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Parents of children ages 0-5 are encouraged to register their children to receive a free book each month until the child’s fifth birthday. First Lady Susan Gianforte’s Treasure State Foundation supports this initiative to cover the cost. Thank you to everyone who came out to Finley’s Pumpkin Patch last Saturday. We had almost 300 people who came to choose a pumpkin! 96 kids signed up for our drawing, and Jett Nordboe was the lucky winner. September is Library Card Sign Up Month! If you don’t have a library card, you are missing out. The library will be hosting the Book Character Fun Run during the Sugarbeet Festival.
