Two area Chapters of the FFA participated in competitions held at Fort Benton High School on February 8. The Chinook Chapter of the FFA took three teams and the Harlem Chapter took one. For Chinook, the Senior Agronomy team placed 5th, Senior Ag Mechanics placed 15th, and the Junior Mechanics team placed 6th. In front of a small audience of fellow students and a few parents, 21 spellers from the Chinook School District employed their wits in the district's spelling bee for grades 5-8. The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of Hansel and Gretel took the stage at Chinook High School's Lloyd Sweet Auditorium on Saturday, February 5.
