Today, Wednesday February 5th a Census 2020 representative will be at the library from 12:00 to 4:00 taking employment applications for the upcoming Census. In Blaine County the Census jobs will pay $17.00 per hour and 58 cents per mile. If you are looking for a part-time job, plan to stop in and fill out an application. The Turner 2019-2020 homecoming was held this past Wednesday at the Turner School. The festivity was kicked off with float presentations from grades 7-12. Children in grades K-2 pulled the float "wagons" for the classes presenting. Following the floats, a spaghetti supper was held in the school cafeteria followed by a community Pep Rally. The library board of trustees meets today for their monthly meeting at 4:15 in the library meeting room. This is the last week to participate in the library word cloud activity. The Turner School celebrated the holiday season recently with a concert and a visit from Santa. This year the community was graced with a concert including grades Kindergarten through grade 8.
