After she graduated from Chinook High School in 2014, Paige Raty attended college at Montana State University-Northern (MSUN) and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Operations Technology with a minor in Business. In addition to her education in Havre, she earned certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist (CESMT) through Midwest Natural Healing for Animals out of Indiana. A friend in Havre recently gave me a book noting, "I think you might enjoy reading this." The book was written by Tim Gilge. Locals may recall the Gilge family, Kent and Lois and their five children, who lived out in the valley east of Chinook in a house across the creek from and owned by Ken and Dawn Overcast. It’s a dreary day again here on the Big Flat. We have received a small amount of rain and a little snow that melted as it hit the ground.
