For the bulk of the month of June the Sweet Home just west of Chinook was again stuck in a lock down due to Covid-19 and other precautions in an effort to do their very best to keep the residents and staff safe. The Annual Dads and Kids Fishing Day was a huge success this year with outstanding numbers to prove it. The Annual Derby sponsored by the Fort Belknap Child Support Program welcomed more than 65 anglers to participate in a day full of fun. Fridays celebration of our Seniors of the Year, Roger Fischer (2020) and Elaine Campbell (2021), was a rousing success. Roger and Elaine, joined by Brad Taylor played music for us starting around 10 a.m. and only taking a break to have lunch with us at noon and then playing on until almost 2 p.m. We have been enjoying their music every Friday for years.
