    Chinook Boosters During the month of October, North Chinook Boosters did a couple things. The first was a window display for National 4-H Week. The theme was “Opportunity 4 All,” and our display was at Lodestar Land and Home. The Club put together a display with pictures of the members with their 4-H projects.     This year's Tenth Annual John Deere Ag Expo (JDAE) took place November 12-14 as a hybrid event.   • Train Accident Claims Life of 41 Year Old Woman

    A 41 year old female and her dog were struck and killed by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) freight train near Lodge Pole Creek, just east of Chinook. A press release by the Blaine County Sheriff’s Department states that at 4:48 the afternoon of Saturday, November 14 that they had received a call from BNSF of a train vs. pedestrian accident.     On Friday afternoon, October 23, the Sweet Memorial Nursing Home received notice of their first positive Covid-19 test.
