Triangle Communications has been busily preparing the network and its members for the change from 7-digit local dialing to 10-digit dialing for local calls. A project to stabilize headstones of veterans buried in Kuper Cemetery (northwest of Chinook) and Alice Nash Cemetery (south Blaine County) will soon be completed. As of Monday morning, August 23 the Pine Grove Fire located on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Blaine and Phillips Counties was listed as 58% contained with 16,004 acres burned.
