(HCE) will be holding its 78th Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the Student Union Building on the campus of Montana State University-Northern in Havre, MT. Members will be electing two trustees, one for District 2 and one for District 3. Voting may occur via mail or in person at the meeting.     Our sports writer, Kody Farmer has been in the hospital the last three weeks fighting some health issues. He loves being able to write and cover the local athletes and all of their successes.   • Watercraft inspection stations open across most of Montana

    With the exception of Eureka, watercraft inspection stations are open. All vehicles transporting any type of boat, including canoes, kayaks, paddleboards and rafts are required to stop at all inspection stations they encounter. Watercraft inspection stations are Montana's first line of defense to prevent the movement of AIS, which can have devastating impacts on Montana waterways.
