Robert was born in Havre, MT and raised on the family ranch 35 miles north of Havre with his sister and two brothers. He loved to work with horses, dogs, and cattle. Robert rodeoed for 8 years in Montana, Arizona, Texas, and California before buying the ranch in the Bear Paw Mountains where he and his family spent their lives.
