John Jens (Jack) O'Brien, a long time resident of Chinook, died peacefully on February 22, 2019 in Chinook with his family close by. Jack was delivered by a midwife in Chinook on September 18, 1922. He was raised by his Dad and his O'Brien aunts after his mother died in a kitchen fire accident when he was 2 years old. His father later married Alice Overcast, who was a wonderful stepmother. Allie Marie died due to complications of the disease Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), after a long battle of 10 years.
