Lloyada Ladies get ready for holidays

The Lloyada Ladies met at the home of Marilyn Williamson on Sept. 2 with Sharon Moran as co-hostess.

A thank you was read to members for donating a door prize to the Special Interest Meeting at the Harlem Seed Show from the Domestic Engineers.

Club members were also thanked by the Lloyada Ladies President for entering unique items at the Blaine County Fair July 9-12, 2015.

Members voted to make a float for the Sugar Beet festival held September 26, the theme being the Electrical Industry members decided on the title, “You’ve Come Along Way Baby,” depicting the communications systems. Members met at a later date to decorate the float.

Paulette Keller and Vicki Niederegger won the door prizes. Happy Birthday was sung to Olive Robinson and Barb Swenson. Cheesecake and beverages were served.

The next meeting will be a non-host luncheon meeting at the Motor Inn on Friday, Nov. 6 at 11:30 a.m.
