We've Got The County Covered
The Chinook Chamber has set the schedule for its pre-Christmas celebration. There are a couple of changes in the format and many of the traditional events still scheduled. All activities are set for Friday, November 27.
•1 p.m. - 7 p.m. - Stroll Main Street and listen to Christmas music. Most vendors will be located in Wallner Hall, located behind the Wells Fargo Bank on Indiana Street. There will be live music at the hall at various times throughout the day.
• 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Festival of Trees display at First Bank of Montana on Indiana.
• 1 p.m. - Sled Races (Meet in front of the Chamber Office – If there’s snow - bring your own sled). The office is at 313 Indiana Street in the downtown area.
• 1 to 3 p.m. - Horse Drawn Wagon Rides downtown - (Weather Permitting). Absent slippery streets, not good for horses, Larry Surber will be providing horse drawn wagon rides.
• 1 to 6 p.m. - Blaine County Museum open on Indiana Street - (Free Admission).
• 1 to 6 p.m. - Wildlife Museum Open - (Regular Admission Charges Apply).
• 2 to 4 p.m. - Pictures with Santa - (Wells Fargo Bank lobby).
• 6 p.m. - Parade of Lights - Mr. and Mrs. Clause will be appearing in the parade. Tower heaters will be provided for extra comfort along the parade route on Indiana. Line up for the Parade is at Meadowlark School at 5:30 p.m.
• 7 p.m. - Festival of Trees Live Auction/Taco Dinner at the Chinook Eagles. Donated items will be moved from the First Bank of Montana prior to the live auction.
