We've Got The County Covered

This season has proved successful for many local hunters

The Fall big game hunting season ended this past Sunday, bringing to a close a hunting season that has provided several memorable hunts for sportsman of all ages.

These five local hunters proudly display their harvested animals taken on hunts recently around Blaine County.

Hailey Bell scored a nice Mule Deer Buck on her Grandpa Bell's place.

Hailey was accompanied by her dad, Bill, on the hunt and was successful in tracking down a nice buck with an identifiable drop tine that the family had been watching all summer.

Hailey filled her tag during the final week of the hunting season.

Brock and Larissa Aiton each completed successful hunts that ended with a pair nice Mule Deer bucks to fill the freezer.

Larissa had bragging rights in the house for a week as she took a nice four point south of Chinook on November, 25.

Brock tagged a huge four point seven days later on a hunt that also took place south of Chinook.

Mark and Bonnie Weber both successfully filled their antelope tags on the same day.

Bonnie took her buck on a hunt south of Chinook during the morning hours while Mark took his later in the afternoon while hunting north of Chinook.

Thanksgiving weekend brought an end to the hunting season and without a doubt some great hunting stories as well.
