Valley Clovers 4-H stay busy

The second meeting of the Valley Clovers 4-H Meeting was called to order by president Brooke Elliott at 2 p.m. on Nov. 8 at Wallner Hall. There were 3 leaders, 24 members, and several guests present. Three new members have joined the 4-H club, Hadley and Kamry Gustitus, and Grace Buck.

The club was responsible for setting up decorations for the 4-H Achievement Night which was held in October. For the Parade of Lights, we donated a tree to the Festival of Trees, and had a float in the parade that won second place.

Several committees were made at the meeting. The different committees were responsible for the Adopt a Resident Program, Angel Tree, Festival of Tree’s, and Parade of Lights float building. Discussion was held about our yearly winter activity, and it was decided to come up with different ideas and bring them to the next meeting.

The club will also be getting new dark green t-shirts that Erika Arnold will be making and will be bringing them to the next meeting.

The next meeting is Dec. 13 at 3 p.m. at Wallner Hall. We will be having our annual Christmas Party and Secret Santa gift exchange.
