We've Got The County Covered
Over the past few months we have shared many pictures of successful hunts throughout Blaine County by our local residents.
We have had successful hunts of all kinds - deer, elk, and antelope. Hunters of all ages and everyone has a memory that will last forever.
This year we had a number of first time hunters taking part in a new Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks program that allows young hunters to enjoy the season with an accompanying adult.
We've had a few husband and wife hunts that ended with success for both. We've had experienced veteran hunters and even a hunt that included a group effort to ensure success.
Possibly our last hunt of the season includes Chinook resident, Paul Ramberg.
Ramberg is 87 years young and was hunting November, 27 just south of McCann Butte with a Remington 25.06 that he had won at a Wildlife Museum fundraiser a few years back.
Ramberg harvested a nice 4x4 mule deer buck to conclude yet another memorable hunt.
