The New Year's Eve party was truly a huge success this year on the Big Flat. People of various ages enjoyed dancing into the night with live music. The little ones rocked the dance floor as well as the older generation. Shown here is Rose Van Voast and Boyd Jenne as they make their way around the dance floor. Van Voast has attended about as many New Year's Eve dances as what has been held. She has enjoyed every single get together that the Lion's Club has organized. These dances are all about closing out the old year and bringing in a New Year with all your friends and neighbors.
The Hogeland/Turner Lions Club hosted their annual New Year's Eve party this past Thursday evening. They served a delicious pork dinner with potluck side dishes. After the dinner, "Andy and the Yellowstone Drifters" played live music to a large crowd from the Big Flat and surrounding communities. A wonderful time was had by all attending. Francis Van Voast, President of the Lions, presented the Lions of the Year Award to Jim Reed. He was congratulated by the entire crowd.
