Louis "Lou" Bryant

Louis "Lou" Bryant, 89, of Great Falls, passed away January 17, 2016 of natural causes. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 610 2nd Ave N, Great Falls, Montana, with Reverend Nancy Slabaugh Hart officiating.

Lou was born November 24, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA to Albert and Ida Mae (Morgandale) Bryant, the middle child of thirteen, with six brothers and six sisters.

He and his "Montana girl," Mary Overcast, were married in Chinook on June 25, 1950.

His greatest love was being a husband and a dad to his three children, Susan, Steven, and Sherri, and they lived in their present home since 1959. The purchase of a cabin at Lincoln in 1969 brought many happy hours to all of them. The children grew-up loving camping and nature.

Lou is survived by his loving family, his wife Mary; daughters, Susan (Jonathan) Wilkins of Missoula, and Sherri (Peter) Estep of Kirkland; sisters, Alberta Brown and Joyce Mitchell; brothers Raymond Bryant, Roy Bryant, and Thomas Bryant; grandchildren, Nicolas (Brynn) Wilkins, Makayla Estep, and Melissa (Chris) Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Harper Wilkins, Barrett and Louis Rodriguez; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Colleen DeMuth and Bob Dutcher.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Steven Bryant; sisters, Loretta Wallace, Ida Mae Knorr, Thelma Jeitner, Millie Gruici; brothers, James Bryant, George Bryant and David Bryant.
