Paradise Pals hold February meeting

The February meeting of the Paradise Pals 4-H club was held in the library meeting room on Feb. 21, 2016. The meeting was called to order by President Erika Anderson. The American pledge was led by Kenneth Pruttis and the 4-H pledge was led by Justin Graff. Roll call was name a musical instrument you like/play.

The January meeting minutes were approved. Michael Warburton made the motion and Justin Graff seconded. There was no correspondence report as the correspondence secretary was absent. The treasurer’s report was given by Megan Pruttis. Song leader Jared Graff led us in the song “God Bless America”. The reports were on Postal Shoots, Teen Leader Meetings, and Valentines Dance were given by Michael and Erika. Under old business, we discussed possible fundraisers, inviting Extension Agents to our meetings, Birthday boxes, and Seed Show educational display. The educational display was approved with a motion from Michael Warburton and a second from Garrett Pruttis.

We announced upcoming events. Talks were given by Megan Pruttis on Working Out, Kara Graff on Chickens, Garrett Pruttis on Food Safety, Evy Jendro on Horses, Kristen Graff on Production in Cattle, Aubree Handy on Cloud’s Encore, Justin Graff on Orange Elephants, Kenneth Pruttis on Different Types of Light bulbs, and Aislinn Handy on Easy Jet.

Treats were served by Sally and Erika after the meeting. The next meeting will be on March 20, 2016 in the Library Meeting Room. The remainder of the talks will be given at this meeting and we will also be starting the demonstrations.
