White Pine 4H holds monthly meeting

The White Pine 4-H Club met in the Triple E Meeting Room in Chinook on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 5 p.m. with 13 members, 2 leaders, and four guests present.

Vice-President, Colton Liddle, called the meeting to order. Ethan Liddle led the American Pledge and Drake Berreth led the 4-H Pledge. Roll Call was answered by telling our favorite 4-H project.

Minutes of the January 14th meeting were read by Secretary, Addison Olsen and approved with one correction.

The Treasurer’s report was read by Addison. Kyler Johnson reported on the 4-H Valentine dinner and dance held at the Community Event Center at the Blaine County Fairgrounds.

Under Old Business we talked about working on our Record Books, demonstrations and our club scrapbook.

Under New Business we talked about hosting the County 4-H Project Day. We decided to hold this event at the fairgrounds on June 4th. A motion was made by Ethan Liddle and seconded by Drake Berreth to begin contacting possible instructors for Project Day. Motion carried.

Our next meeting will be March 17th and our host will be the Britton Elliot family.

Maisie Ford then made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Kyler Johnson seconded and Colton Liddle adjourned the meeting.

Thane, Tanna and Krysta Drugge then served us homemade chili, cheese, crackers, and a veggie tray with dips.
