We've Got The County Covered

The Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8th at Wallner Hall from 12:30 - 6:00 P.M.

The Red Cross highly encourages appointments in order to decrease the wait time. However, walk ins are still, always welcome. A few changes have been made in the scheduling process in order to accommodate walk ins, Primarily, several appointment slots have been blocked each hour. All appointment slots from 12:30-1PM are walk in slots. You will be requested to choose one of the appointment times available, OR, you may choose to just wait. You can call me, Carla Jenewein, at 357-2491 to set up an appointment. Or, you can go online at American Red Cross - Give blood and schedule an appointment.

The Red Cross has also developed a program designed to help decrease wait time. This program is called Rapid Pass. You can access Rapid Pass by logging into your account at http://www.redcrossblood.org. If you do not have an account you may set one up. Rapid Pass allows you to read the educational material, complete the health history questions, then print or email your pass. The mini health screening will still take place. You must have a donation appointment in order for the Pass to work and it can only be completed the day of the drive.

Critical Need for Blood Donors

There’s a critical need for O+, O- and B- blood types. Schedule a donation appointment now.

For all the high school students out there, don’t forget about the High School Leadership Program (formerly knows as the Red Cord Program). You can learn about this program by logging into your account or setting up an account at http://www.redcrossblood.org.

Please remember you need to always bring your donor card or a valid ID in order to donate (drivers license or school ID are acceptable). Parental consents for those 16 or 17 years of age can be picked up at the high school office or at the registration table at Wallner Hall the day of the drive.
