Shirley Sargent Wisch, 81, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Shirley was born on December 30, 1934 in Chinook, MT. After graduating from Chinook High School in 1952, she attended Kinman Business University in Spokane, WA. She then worked for a short time at a bank in Cut Bank, MT before marrying her lifelong soul mate on March 27, 1954. Shirley worked at various positions in Chinook including 20 years as the bookkeeper at Sweet Memorial Nursing Home before retiring in 1996. She enjoyed her many church activities, camp club, card playing, and socializing with her close friends. Shirley will always be remembered for her caring, kind, and generous heart.
Loving survivors include her husband of 62 years, Larry Wisch; daughter Kathy (Dave) Bafaro of Spokane, WA and her son Jerry Wisch of Albany, OR; grandchildren Shaun Michael and Amanda Bafaro of Spokane, WA, and Lisa Wood of Adairsville, GA; two sisters, Leah Miller and Pat Vargas; seven great grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church in Chinook, MT.
