We've Got The County Covered
What a big week we had here at the center. Some of the Poets & Pickers stopped by on Friday to join the ”Kitchen Band.” Everyone loved the singing, dancing, poetry, and yodeling. Elaine Campbell did a great job of setting this up for us!
The Public Card party was last Sunday with High winner Ruth Brown and Low winner was Lois Hanson. Double Pinochle was Judy Chapman and Virginia Olson.
Whist will be played on Wednesday, April 13 at 1 p.m.
Senior exercises have been moved to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday for this week only due to a scheduling conflict. Bingo is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Thursday. There were a dozen players last week, so come join the fun. Cards are only a dime each. Last week’s winner was Shirley Grubb.
We will be hosting the quarterly meeting for the North Central Area Agency on Aging on Friday with 8 Montana counties being represented, so please be sure to call ahead with your reservation or order so we can make enough meals of Crispy Chicken that day.
On Monday, will be billiards at 1 p.m.
The Cancer Support Group meets on Tuesday, April 19 at 11:30 a.m. with a guest speaker from Relay for Life. There will be a committee meeting after lunch at 1 p.m.
Shanghai Rummy is also played every Tuesday and last week’s winner was Mike Randall. This is a progressive rummy that is easy to learn and everyone enjoys.
On Wednesday, April 20, come watch the movie “The Redemption of Henry Myers.” Snacks and drinks will be furnished.
