Chinook residents have seen a new face at the service counter in city hall. Cheryl Alm is the new Assistant City Clerk. She began her duties on March 21 when she replaced Carol Floren. Floren became the City Clerk, in February, replacing Gabe Harry who took a position at the city's water treatment plant.
Cheryl Alm grew up on Bainbridge Island, Washington, in the Puget Sound due west of downtown Seattle. She raised three children, now adults, in Havre, where her grandparents lived. She now lives in Chinook.
