Sid Boe

Sid Boe of Lavina, MT passed away March 20, 2016. Sid was born January 27, 1941, in Big Timber, MT to Miller and Esther Boe. He spent his early years in the Snowy Mountains and Lavina. In April of 1963 he married the love of his life, Lois Paulson. Sid is survived by his wife, brother, Terry; children, Twyla and Quint (wife Brenda); grandchildren, Kassidy and Jaycie, all of Lavina, and numerous nieces and nephews. Sid was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Myrna Anderson; sister-in-law, Betty Lou Hjelvik; and nephews, Keith Seitz and Sid Wilken. The joys of his life were his family and anything to do with horses. Joys he passed on to his kids and grandkids. Sid always had a strong sense of community and love for small town life, demonstrating this in his time as mayor. A memorial service was held at 11 am, Thursday March 24, at the Lavina Methodist-Lutheran Church, In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any memorials be made to the Lavina Volunteer Fire Department or Lavina Senior Citizens Center.
