Valley Clover March Meeting

The sixth meeting of Valley Clover’s 4-H club was called to order by President Brook Elliot at 1:00 pm on March 13, 2016 at Wallner Hall. There were 4 leaders, 14 members, several Guest present.

The club received a thank you letter from the Food Pantry and a thank you letter from the Northern Montana Health Care Center.

Clara reported on the Seed Show while Ross and Brooke reported on our club’s seed show display. We got overall display with a $90 win. Keri reported on the birthday boxes and Yelena reported on our butter braids’ profit.

For committee reports, Kadia reported on the park area at the fairgrounds. That committee met after the meeting to discuss more on the project.

The club then discussed about participating in helping the fairgrounds build and paint some new signs for the animal barns. These signs will need to be painted, sealed, and designed by the club.

Following the meeting we had three demonstrations. Ian did his on “Easy, No Bake, Cheesecake.” Gracie did hers on “How to Make Handprint Turkeys.” And Raynee did a powerpoint on “Apron Bash” which explained how to make a homemade apron.

The next meeting is set for April 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm, at Wallner Hall.
