We've Got The County Covered
The White Pine 4-H club met on Thursday, April 21st, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. in the Library Meeting room with 16 members, 4 leaders, and 4 guests present.
Vice President, Colton Liddle, called the meeting to order. Jenna Liddle led the American Pledge and Addison Olsen led the 4-H Pledge. Roll call was answered by telling an Arbor Day fact.
Minutes of the March 17th 2016 meeting were read and approved. Britton Elliot gave the Treasurer’s report.
Under Old Business we discussed keeping our 4-H Record Books up to date. We also talked about making posters for our demonstrations. Members turned in their school pictures for the club scrapbook. Everyone looked through the scrapbook to get ideas for their page in the club scrapbook.
Under New Business we learned that our club will share a Chuckwagon shift with the Harlem Variety 4-H Club on Sunday, July 17th from 9:45 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Everyone was asked to let their family know and to get this on their calendar.
We discussed the Poultry sign for the barn at the fairgrounds. Britton Elliot made a motion that we purchase a sheet of metal and go with the other clubs in having two metal signs made for each end of the barn. Masie Ford seconded and motion carried.
A date for 4-H Project Day was discussed. Date will be announced when approved by the Extension Office. Classes are coming together.
A motion to adjourn was made by Maisie Ford and seconded by Amanda Mord. White Pine 4-H Club will meet on May 19th, 2016. Hosts will be Kyler and Lincy Johnson family.
Maisie and Ashlyn Ford family then served us a delicious crockpot stew, rolls, cookies and punch.
We welcomed new 4-H members Eyan, Kirbey and Ryley Hofeldt to our club.
