Chinook FFA receives awards at state convention

The following 5 students from the Chinook FFA Chapter received their State Degree during the 2016 Montana FFA State Convention held in Bozeman, MT during the first week in April. From left to right: Wade Schneider (Jr), Cody Allen (Sr), Advisor-Robin Allen, Tyler Ortner (Sr), Aubri McCann (Sr) and Garrison Mitchell (Sr). Congratulations to these students for fulfilling the requirements to obtain this degree.

Wade Schneider, Chinook FFA, receives his award in the Proficiency Applicant from Meghan Brence (State Officer). Wade received a Gold placing in Diversified Crops which garnered him a plaque, certificate, $250 and the right to send his application on to the National level. Other applicants for Chinook were Garrison Mitchell, Bronze in Beef Production; Tyler Ortner, Bronze in Beef Production and Aubri McCann, Bronze in Swine Production. These 4 young FFA members did a great job of representing themselves and their Chapter at the State FFA Convention.
