Michael Jade Bishop

Billings, MT

On Mother's Day, May 8th, 2016, the Lord called home our Michael Jade Bishop.

Michael was born on March 26th, 1979 to Debbie and Pete Bishop, and was welcomed home by older brother Brad Lee. A sister, MaKyla Irene, would join the family nine years later.

Michael was the clown of the family. He entertained everyone at family get-togethers. He was quick-witted, never serious, always inappropriate, and had a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

In 2001, tragedy struck the Bishop family for the first time when Brad died in an accident. Michael was devastated by the loss of his best friend.

Michael met Melanie Monson in 2008 and she gave Michael his two greatest blessing in life: his children. Kyrene Kay Juliet, was born in 2011, and Bradlee Anne, was born 2014. They were his pride and joy.

Michael and Melanie enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and spending time with their families. Michael was always looking for an adventure.

Other passions of Michael's included rock collecting, hunting and fishing with his nephew Kolton Bishop, listening to old county music, cruising the back roads and Michael loved riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his daughters Kyrene and Bradlee, stepson Mitchell Monson, parents, Pete Bishop and Debbie Olson, sister Makyla (Efrain) Archuleta, fiancé Melanie Monson, aunts Kathy Olson, Patty (Sam) Olson, Peggy Salois, and Sherry Bishop, uncles George (Serena) Bishop, Eddie (Sherrill) Bishop, Babsie (Tony) Bishop, nieces Jaidyn Bishop and her daughter Hayden Henry, nephews Kolton Bishop and Maximo Archuleta, sister-in-law Clarissa Bishop, grandmother Gwen Bishop, step-siblings Kim Incashola, Bronc Speakthunder, Breanne (Chase) Main, Aniya Longknife, Sid, Grubbs, Jaris and Katelynn Goes Ahead as well as numerous cousins.

Michael was preceded in death by his beloved brother Brad Lee Bishop, maternal grandparents, Don and Irene Olson, paternal grandfather Mervin Bishop.
