Audrey Carolyn Jungers, 79, died Friday, April 22, 2016 in Spokane Washington. At her request cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
Audrey was born July 16, 1936 in Murray Utah. She was raised in Spokane Washington and moved to Fort Benton Montana in 1956 when she married Leonard Jungers. Together the couple had four children. They lived in Fort Benton until the late 1970’s when they relocated to the hi-line living in Hogeland and Chinook. They later lived in Kalispell and Billings for a number of years. Audrey spent many years raising her children and farming. She also worked at the Blaine County assessor’s office, a position she really enjoyed. Audrey spent her free time reading, quilting and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed participating in many activities of the Billings and Spokane senior centers. She also loved the times she spent wintering in Arizona.
Audrey is survived by a daughter, Terri Hunt (Jon) and their two children, Matthew of Kalispell; and Samantha Nimmick (Trevor) of Havre; a son, Nathan (Tammy) and their three children, Taryn, Christopher and Layla, of Princeton, Ill; grandaughters, Rochelle Thompson (Travis) of Albuquerque, and Danille Bauwens of Billings; her brother, Bruce Ronneburg of Spokane, brother-in-law, James (Patricia), of Spokane Washington; and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Leonard Jungers, and two sons, James Lester and Ralph Michael (Jalene). Also preceding her in death was a grandson Christopher Jungers.
