We've Got The County Covered

Blaine County Library

The Summer Reading Program is well under way. Last week we made cakes in the microwave. The kids had to read instructions, measure ingredients, bake and decorate their cakes and then they got to eat them! Tuesday July 5th we will have an art theme. We have lots of fun things planned. LEGO Club will be today for kids grades K through 6. Kids not in school yet may attend with adult supervision. Thursday will be Middle School Hangout for grades 6-8. There will not be a movie on Monday July 4. The library will be closed in celebration of the 4th of July. All programs start at 2:00 p.m. We welcome kids of all ages and abilities. 85 kids have signed up for the Summer Reading Program so far. There is plenty of time to sign up and get started! Accelerated Reader Tests are available on all the computers at the library.

If you like thrillers and suspense, this is your lucky week! "Ink ad Bone" by Lisa Unger, "The Samaritan" by Mason Cross, "Widowmaker" by Paul Doiron, "Brighton" by Michael Harvey, "The Killing Season" by Mason Cross, "The Hostage Taker" by Stephanie Pintoff and "The Games", by James Patterson are all ready to go.

New movies this week are Woodlawn, Father of the Bride 1 & 2, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Race, Pan, James and the Giant Peach, All of My Heart, Strawberry Summer and For Better or Worse.

June 1st we began new hours at the library.
