We've Got The County Covered
On July 11, 2016, at the North Central Montana Shrine Club lunch meeting, Frank Billmayer presented to Frank Pehrson of Chinook, a picture of the plane Frank flew in WWII, a B25 Mitchell named "Jersey Bounce". Frank's position was top turret gunner. Staff SGT. Pehrson flew 61 combat missions from April 2 to September 15, 1944. Frank Pehrson's Texaco service station in Chinook was started in 1940 by his father, John. Frank took over in 1947 and Frank Jr. is the current operator. Frank Billmayer joined the marines at age 17 in 1997 and served his country until his honorable discharge. Both men are dedicated Shriners. Lets give them both a big salute and thank you for serving our country.
