William “Bill” Whitecrow 58, an Army and Navy Veteran passed away from esophageal cancer on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at his home in Zortman.

Military Graveside services were Saturday, July 30, 2016, at 1:00 P.M. in the Zortman Cemetery. Condolences for the family may be left at http://www.kirkwoodfuneralhome.com.

Bill was born March 2, 1958, the son of William R and Amelia F. (Azure) Perry in Longview, Washington. After his schooling he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 3 years. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for over 14 years before he was honorably discharged as an EN1 (E6). Bill changed his last name from Perry to Whitecrow to honor his family’s Native American heritage. He attended a Harley Davidson school for motorcycle mechanics, owning his own business for a while before becoming disabled and moving to Montana.

He is survived by his 3 daughters: Amelia Perry, Allisha Perry and Amanda Perry all of Puyallup, WA; grandchildren: Zachary, Maizie, Dominic and another grandson on the way; his mother, Amelia Rasmussen; brothers Tate (Darlene) Perry and Wallace (Darlene) Perry, both of Neah Bay, WA; sisters Trena (Chico) Kinkaid of Sun River, MT, Willie (Mac) McGinty of Malta, MT and Pauline Perry of Neah Bay, WA; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by life partner, Teresa Rosi, his father, William Perry and brother, Wes Perry.

He loved all his children and grandchildren dearly and will be deeply missed.
